  • Abstract
    We report on a COD(Catastrophic Optical Damage) free 980nm-laser-diode with a window structure, which supports of asymmetrically expanded optical field normal to the active layer. About 1200mW thermally-limited-maximum-power, more than 900mW kink-free-power and less than 2.5 aspect-ratio are realized.
