  • Abstract
    Wavelength-conversion by four-wave mixing in a hybrid mode-locked DBR laser diode where a mode-locked pulse train was used as a pump light was proposed and demonstrated. Wavelength-conversion of 18.23 Gbit/s RZ signals was successfully achieved.
