  • Abstract
    We developed a packaged 40Gb/s X-cut LiNbO3modulator with a two-step back-slot structure and realized higher extinction-ratio with lower drive voltage at 40Gb/s. 10%-dc-drift over 20 years at 50 degree-C was experimentally confirmed.
