  • Abstract
    We report a 68times10 Gb/s transmission over 12220 km using CRZ format with 0.5 nm channel spacing in the C-band. Using a single stage Reed-Solomon code, a BER below 10-13 is observes for all channels. The comparison with RZ modulation format exhibits about 2 dB performance improvement
