Abstract
We propose a novel polarization scrambling technique based an phase-inverted alternating polarization modulation with a narrower spectrum bandwidth. The proposed technique is demonstrated for 12.5-GHz-spaced super-dense and optical-carrier-distributed WDM ring networks without network clock synchronization
