Abstract :
An automatic 2-stage PMDC is proposed and performance evaluation results with respect to 1st- and 2nd-order PMD are presented. Measurement results show, that the proposed PMDC effectively raises the PMD limit for 43 Gbit/s signals from 2.5 ps to 8 ps
