Abstract :
Pneumo-tacographic inspection represents a noninvasive method to measure capability of pulmonary functionality, that may be evaluated from flux/volume curve of pulmonary system. Pneumo-tacograph principle is based on Poiseuille law, that from relationship between pressure difference and volume-flow rate, measurement of difference in pressure yields an estimate of flow (liter/min.). Output voltage of differential pressure sensor (i.e. piezoelectric xtal or extensimeter) now may be amplified by a low noise & low distortion instrumentation and optical coupled amplifier for post-processing unit. Post-processing allows a smart inspiration recognition to select different patients: child, young, or old man breath. Sensitivity of differential pressure sensor and differential amplifier systems has been improved rejecting common-mode spurious signals coupled between sensor and amplifier, to get a lower load-effect and to give a good enough inspection uncertainty to patient clinic exame. Simulation results were presented to show particulars in optimization process
