Abstract
Classical approach of bandpass sampling is limited to the obtaining of a valid sampling frequency within determined ranges. This paper treats the subject focusing on the selection of the mentioned frequency on the basis of the separation among spectral replicas. This starting point allows a novel development of the topic and also makes the tracing of the spectral characteristics of the discrete time signal possible
