Abstract
The paper deals with a FFT based measurement procedure which has been implemented in a software module for wide bandwidth digital scopes. The software module can be installed with the purpose of enhancing the scope performance in the frequency domain measurements, in terms of amplitude and frequency uncertainty. The implemented measurement algorithms and uncertainty auto-evaluation procedure are described in detail. Finally, some experimental results are reported with the aim of showing both performance and output format of the signal analysis
