Abstract :
This contribution reviews the background and the main activities of the EC-funded network of excellence TARGET. Further, we present selected research results achieved within the first 18 months of TARGET´s lifetime. These results were achieved in the fields of quality assessment of nonlinear microwave device models, of microwave semiconductor power devices, and of microwave power amplifier design. Finally, we give an outlook on our next goals and activities.
