Abstract :
An algorithm of 2D near-field microwave imaging is presented, based on the weak scattering approximation model. The point spread function of the imaging system is employed to eliminate the effect of the measurement system in the spectrum domain, which is constructed with the echo scattered by the perfect metallic sphere. We correct the wave front on the basis of Stolt-interpolation, and reconstruct the target via FFT. Some computer simulations and experiments are implemented to verify the imaging algorithm. The 2D near-field microwave images of two metallic circular cylinders and a missile model are obtained at Ku-band.
