Abstract :
In this paper, a preconditioned parallelized method of moments (MoM) is presented for solving the electromagnetic scattering problem of electrically large objects. A physics-based preconditioning scheme called the near field preconditioner is employed to reduce the iteration number so as to improve convergence property. And a practical selection of the control parameter of the preconditioner is also presented, which is effective in conjunction with BiCGstab(ell) solver. All of the methods adopted here is parallelized and achieved good performance.
