Abstract :
A printed dipole antenna comprised partially cylindrical parasitic element is proposed in this paper. It is applicable as a slender and broadband base station antenna. The main feature of this structure is that it can improve the bandwidth of printed dipole antenna greatly by a very little increase of antenna´s diameter. The investigation is carried out by FDTD simulation.
