Abstract :
The cost of measuring the RCS of a large electric size object is so high that the method using the scaling model to measure and compute it becomes hot in electromagnetic computational field. Traditionally, the object lies in total space, but in practice, one usually has to measure some objects lying in half space. The formulas used to calculate the RCS scaling factors of some objects lying in half space are presented in this paper. The results shown here agree fairly well with those in moment method. So the formulas are feasible.
