Abstract :
Physics of spin wave processes in thin ferrite-film structures as a basis for novel device applications is briefly reviewed. Two types of novel microwave spin-wave devices, namely, nonlinear spin-wave phase shifter and nonlinear spin-wave interferometer are described. Experimentally measured and theoretically calculated operating characteristics for these devices are presented. It is shown that a good agreement exists between experimental and theoretical results.
