Abstract
We achieved the generation of 300ps FWHM electrical pulses with 130ps rise time and 10700V amplitude by using an innovative technology based on doped semiconductive substrate. The linear mode running of these elements permitted their temporal synchronisation and optical activation with low input optical energy. Picosecond bipolar pulses with several kilovolts were also generated with this technology.
