  • Abstract
Case revise is looked on as the Achilles heel of case-based reasoning (CBR). Where do the difficulties lay? Case revise can be seen as a process of knowledge acquisition and usage in the view of knowledge, but original intention of using case-based reasoning is to avoiding knowledge acquisition. So the hardness of case revise is becoming explicit, that is how to get and use the relative knowledge, such as rules of case revise. Where did such knowledge come from? How to use it? Differentia-droved strategy is brought out to give the methods of knowledge acquisition and usage with adding related knowledge base in case-based reasoning cycle to support case revising. Therefore there are explicit thoughts on case revise, and the cases in case base are fully used, which have universal meaning to the cases represented by characters and its values
