Intergrated Telehealth-Telecentre Development - Innovative Remote Community Care & Development

The community telecentre (CTC) initiative helped to defeat the digital divide for global sustainability but recent developments in welfare, aids, disaster recovery and health issues forges a greater role for emerging CTCs. Under the light of emerging wireless technologies an innovative redesign of the centres is essential. For addressing this problem the use of recently matured medical technologies suitable for rural care in conjunction with the introduction of an integrated telehealth-telecentre (ITTC) to future developments is proposed.
