Abstract
Several multi-carrier spread spectrum (MC SS) access techniques which are based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) have been developed till date. Different schemes are expected to perform optimally in different channel conditions. Their performance is also influenced by receiver impairments, such as synchronization error and channel estimation errors. This work is targeted towards unified verification of performance of the schemes for different spreading gains, load conditions and sub carrier grouping schemes in quasi static realistic indoor channel environment in the presence of carrier frequency offset and channel estimation error for sub carrier hopping and non hopping systems. The results presented in this article will prove very important in deciding on a robust access scheme and its relevant parameters for down link indoor wireless local area networks
