Abstract :
Electronic (E) business has been the culmination of efforts and development in modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It became the most important tool for the conduct of many transactions and ventures worldwide. Mobile (M) business is defined as the conduct of business transactions across public telecommunications infrastructures. It is expected to serve many of our everyday life aspects by providing us with a considerable number of services developed within a number of platforms such as BREW, 2ME, and Symbian. Given the developments in the mobile application industry in other parts of the world particularly Europe and apan, where do we stand in the Middle East both educationally and professionally This paper introduces the main concepts of mobile business with an overview of major areas of its application. It will then present a thorough investigation of selected ICT academic curricula in order to set out proposals for creating cadres adept at m business development through effective education.
