Abstract :
This paper introduces a distributed architecture of the intelligent control integrated system for area-wide incident response, information guidance based on signal control. The paper applies multi-agent technique to the system and introduces the relative cooperation and negotiation theories based on game theory, by which the system can realize real-time active intelligent control, especially to actively resolve the congestions happened or will happen at the intersection. Therefore, the coordination problem among several intersections can be handled, which is one of the most important problems of the area control system. Finally, as one intersection signal agent, it can realize the isolated intersection signal control strategy independently by means of fuzzy logic
