Abstract :
This communication deals with an oriented-contour point based voting algorithm for multiclass vehicle type identification (make and model). The system obtains similar results for equivalent recognition frameworks with different feature selections (Petrovic and Cootes, 2004). Results also show the method to be robust to partial occlusion
