Abstract
The author has proposed that unconscious voice, face, hand, and body gestures form a motion texture that convey social signals, and that these signals are an important determinant of human behavior by Pentland, A. (2004). In this paper, the author described the theoretical and computational framework that the author have developed for measuring social signaling, and survey the results obtained using this computational model for the perception of social displays
