Abstract :
There are several representative manufacturing patterns in manufacturing enterprise. For a specialized manufacturing enterprise, the products are very similar and their PLC characteristics are pretty much the same. The variation trends for similar products are basically the same despite of some unpredictable factors. Then the PLC characters and the corresponding manufacturing patterns of similar products can be stored in a knowledge base for later reference. The character of a new product can be matched with the data stored in the knowledge base, thereby providing a feasible method for the selection of manufacturing patterns for the new product. The practical example testifies the validity of this method
