Abstract :
The Ar, Ne, Ne-Ar, Kr and 85Kr have been tested in a microwave sulfur lamp system. The starting performance and the efficacy have been compared. And we found 85Kr can be used in microwave sulfur lamp with promising advantages. The further development of this kind of lamp also been discussed
