Abstract :
Effective management of knowledge and innovation thus has become a key to technology progress and economic development in emerging economy. China and India are two emerging economies (BIRCs) that have varied economic histories and strategies for stimulating economic growth. This study investigates three main issues related to innovation capability and knowledge spillover in China and India. First, this study evaluates various different indicators of innovation capability, as well as comparison in innovation capability between China and India. Secondly, this study demonstrates the relative innovation strengths in different technological fields for those two countries. Finally, this study investigates the sources of knowledge for innovation in China and India; moreover, this study manifests the difference of knowledge spillover in China and India
