Abstract
Due to phenomenon complexity, the antiperturbative design of digital systems must be sustained by instruments dedicated to simulation of the entire situation that can appear in the process of electronics packaging manufacturing. In this way, this paper presents a Matlab platform dedicated to simulation of phenomenon on the PCB traces. In an actual stage, the platform allows evaluation of reflection phenomenon that can affect the digital signals integrity. The models for connection and for digital circuits input/output are interactive built so that the user can observe, and than control, the effect of changing of some parameter, in signal integrity assurance. The actual stage of implemented platform allows only homogenous connection analysis, or homogenized by included of non-uniformities. The specific way to solve the equivalent model of connection, drive to relevant results which are validated by comparison with other professional simulators solutions and also, by measurements on the experimental models. In the paper are pointed out the advantages of designed platform versus circuit-oriented simulators
