Abstract :
The design procedure and the numerical analysis of a coupler consisting of two coupled artificial CRLH transmission lines, is presented. For the CRLH cell, a PI structure is used in order to increase the operating frequency, compare to the value obtained by using a T structure, as a results of the smaller value for the series capacitance, then a higher resonant frequency may be obtained. The influence of the CRLH cells number and the influence of the distance between the two coupled CRLH artificial transmission lines are also analyzed. The all analysis of the circuit are performed by using IE3D $Zeland software
