Abstract
A two-stage space-time adaptive signal cancellation algorithm cascading with delay-and-sum beamforming is presented in this paper to extract signal corrupted by environmental noises. The scheme is effective to various noises and adaptive to the changes of noises environment and signal source. It also permits locating the sensors in close proximity to make the sensor array very small in size. Experiment results of speech signal extraction from noisy environment have indicated that this scheme has advantages in SNR improvement and speech signal intelligibility
