Abstract :
Delay diversity modulation was shown to be a feasible scheme in space-time modulation. In this paper blind frequency-selective channel estimation of delay diversity modulation is considered. We show that if the delay is not less than the channel order, then the multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) channel can be converted into a special single-input-multiple-output (SIMO) channel. Subspace decomposition is applied to the channel output and we show that the channel can be estimated up to a constant scalar. Simulation results give some illustrative examples
