Abstract
A new authentication scheme for smart card based on 2-dimensional construction is presented. Compared to previous geometry based schemes, this scheme authenticates users without using one-way functions and timestamps, and the user´s ID is not required to transfer over the insecure communication channel. Furthermore, user´s identity changes immediately after every successful authentication operation. By changing users´ identities dynamically, the scheme provides the system a more securer method for authenticating users. Profiting from the well-connected construction, the computation cost for the users is small and can be easily realized
