Abstract :
This paper presents a 5.2 GHz narrow-band optical receiver for radio-over-fiber applications. The receiver consists of a photodiode, matching network and a preamplifier in a 0.18 mum CMOS process. The analysis and simulation results show that the optoelectronic conversion gain and the input equivalent noise current of the receiver are 56.629 dBV/W and 6.875 pA/radicHz respectively, p 1 dBm>0 dBm and IIP3>5 dBm
