Abstract
The article consists of a Powerpoint presentation on discovery of the "adaptive radiation" and "convergence" phenomena in the technology evolution process - case of development of combined blowing converter in the steelmaking process. The areas discussed include: process of integrated iron and steelmaking works; main reaction occurring during in LD; schema of bottom blowing tuyere; variation of combined blowing LD - adaptive radiation; convergence of combined blowing technology in Japan etc.
