Abstract :
Dual-rate predictive control based on the parameter model in which the control is applied at a faster rate than the available measurements of the plant output signal is studied. The internal model control structure of the system is derived, and its robust stability and zero steady state error characteristics are analyzed. Simulations show that the dual-rate predictive control system has the characteristic of reducing the overshoot, however, control effect turns to be bad when the model exists structural modeling error
