  • Abstract
    The aim of this paper is to present a modeling methodology for embarked electrical network in view of simulation. The system is constituted by various sources defined as generator or receptor with strong interactions and its components can be linear or not. The developed global dynamic mathematical model describes the whole system behavior in both steady and transient states as well as topology variations. The constraint of the simulator building is reproducing the network behavior as precisely as needed with a reduced computing time. For this purpose, the model order is reduced and the final model matrices are treated to optimize their inversion. The methodology of modeling is illustrated thanks to two modeling examples. The simulators developed under MATLAB/Simulink are software benchmarks which can be used to predict network behavior and also for stability or control study
