Abstract :
A novel FDM-DCSK UWB system using time-hopping multiple-access scheme was proposed. Based on its frame and principle, the single user and multi-user systems´ BER expressions were obtained theoretically. Simulations show that, compared with DCSK system, FDM-DCSK UWB system can improve performance about 3.5 to 4 dB and reach higher communication rate. Some suggestions on choosing system´s parameters such as number of frequency bands, spreading factor, time slots and number of users are discussed
