Abstract
Frequency domain fluorescence technique forms a strong platform for many sensitive biomedical imaging applications. In this paper, detection of human genomic DNA sample (in capillary tube) fluorescence was carried out with frequency-domain (FD) imaging technique. This sensitive imaging technique may provide a cost effective DNA fluorescence detection by minimizing the sample volume. Also, initial experiment was carried out to show the feasibility of applying FD technique in detecting the DNA fluorescence amplification due to polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
