Abstract :
We propose a 2D readout of GEM (Gas Electron Multiplier) detector with an array of FETs (Filed Effect Transistors) based on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) technology. From our test, its dynamic range could reach 7.3 times 104, INL is less than 0.324%, sensitivity is 2.54 mV/pC, and the readout could be in real time (30 frames per second). This readout method has advantages of simple manufacture, flexible parameters, and low cost. The test methods and results are presented in this paper.
