Abstract
This paper presents a set of Gold Standard images where physical effects like positron range, gamma accolinearity and tissue attenuation are note taken into account in the simulation for the 4 functional models and a realistic simulation, including the brain attenuation, for [18F]FluoroDopa tracer. In order to validate this final result in a clinical or pre-clinical situation, we compared a real brain study against our simulation in the field of Parkinson´s disease with an evaluation of striatal uptake constant (Kc) values with a Patlak analysis.
