Abstract
A SIP proxy server receives massive SIP requests and responses. Furthermore, the server must maintain all call related information such as call, dialog, transaction, branches. Whenever it receives requests and response, it try to find what call information is related with the message. The main bottleneck of proxy performance is transaction searching process for received messages. In this paper, we choose lhash library to get the advantages of hash table approaches for transaction matching in SIP proxy server and evaluated enhanced throughput with massive call by using SIPp[3] that generates massive SIP messages for evaluating performance of SIP components.
