Abstract
The routing protocol for ad hoc network is to find the communication path from source to destination. However, ad hoc network has its limitation on stability of routing protocol and network scalability. In this paper, we proposed the ad hoc routing protocols based on logical topology for community network. In the proposed routing protocol, each community network builds its own logical network topology. Based on logical community topology, it performs stable routing process. It is verified through simulations that the proposed routing protocol based on logical topology of community group enhances routing stability due to having backup paths from logical topology. In addition, the concept of community group helps improve network scalability, which also enhances routing stability further by effectively reducing physical hops.
