Abstract :
We have developed a polarization-independent semiconductor gain equalizer by a side-LPG loaded with a semiconductor waveguide. The analysis shows the possibility of tolerable structure for polarization-independent operation, and preliminary effective notch filtering characteristics are exhibited.
