  • Abstract
An efficient industrial development process of customized variable speed drive systems is preferably assisted by modern and efficient numerical calculation methods. This allows that different electronic circuit versions of the power stack interacting with novel control strategies as well as innovative motor topologies, novel winding schemas and advanced material properties can be investigated with respect to the complete drive system. Fortunately, different case studies on various drive systems can be performed without excessive prototyping in advance, whereby costs are kept as low as possible.
