Abstract :
Today, Scientific and quantitative measurement of the function of the economic factors in the development of economy plays a significant part in formulating economic developmental strategy and pulls forward Chinese economic development in fast, persistent and steady way. On the base of analyzing the technology calculation theory, the article selects cross section data which have the same technology level through grey cluster and calculation a, alpha, beta under the same technology level through model y = KalphaLbetaldr And we select alpha, beta under the lowest technology level which is called technology base-point. With those data and alpha, beta, the article calculates the technology progresses contribution rate and technology progresses rate of 28 provinces of China, and analyzes and studies the calculated results. The first, the technology progresses contribution rate is still low, which is about 20%~50%, and it has the obvious characteristics of local distribution. The second, technology progresses contribution rate of east area is comparatively higher than that of west area. Last, technology progresses rate has the same characteristics with the contribution rate, the east and middle area are higher than the west. The average technology progresses rate of east area is 0.07, middle area is 0.06, but west is 0.04. So today, economic growth of China mainly depends on accumulation of capital.
