Abstract
This paper proposes a design of fuzzy controller for a class of time-delay system with input containing sector nonlinearities and dead-zone. To treat uncertainties of the controlled system, we firstly apply fuzzy systems to estimate its bound. Then, based on Lyapunov theorem, a control law and adaptive laws are proposed to guarantee the stability of the overall system and adjust the free parameters of the fuzzy systems, respectively. Finally, a computer simulation example is used to demonstrate the performance of the proposed control strategy.
