Abstract
To ensure the success of mobile commerce applications, some important factors, such as personal and environmental contexts have to be taken into account. This paper presents a multi-agent approach to support mobile commerce applications, in which mobile agents play the most important roles to discover services and to communicate with other agents. To verify our approach, two applications for location-aware mobile commerce have been developed, and the experimental results have shown that with the special characteristics, mobile agents can be very helpful for consumers to participate decision-making activities.
