Abstract :
Point mass model or continuous body model has been utilized for a model of fabric simulation. But these models are approximation of real fabric structure, and these can´t always predict mechanical behavior of a fabric. A model that was based on the structure of real fabric consists of threads was presented. The program that constructs a virtual weave structure for mechanical simulation was made, and another program that calculate mechanical behavior of the virtual weave structure was also made. The validity of the mechanical calculation was checked and a function of collision detection was added.
