Abstract :
In order to overcome the bad performance and deficiencies of main steam temperature control system, we combine model free adaptive control (MFAC) algorithm with conventional PID algorithm. This scheme incorporates the modeling and control together to form an integrated intelligent control mechanism. The MFAC-PID cascade control system is able to overcome time delays, non-linearity, disturbance and time variation. Simulation results have demonstrated the efficiency of the proposed method
