Abstract :
Embedded serial data-network converter (ESDNC) is based on high-speed Ethernet communication technique and real-time operating system (RTOS). It is a serial equipment which incorporates Ethernet with serial data transmission. ESDNC has many excellent characters. The total design of ESDNC is be introduced; then it respectively elaborates the design of ESDNC´s software and hardware. It gives parameters of the interfaces, program flow chart and main program modules; in addition, ESDNC has three typical applications, they are single principal and subordinate mode, bus mode and network mode respectively. The main functions and the key configurations are expatiated on. Practice has proved that the system is very credible
