Abstract :
Growing up, many people dream of having high-impact jobs. They desire careers that can potentially make a positive difference in people?s lives and in the world, in general. Some people believe that this is the key to happiness and would even sacrifice pay in order to have a meaningful job. What if I told you that you could be involved in an industry that impacts everything you do and get compensated very well at the same time? What if I told you that IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) has established a Scholarship Program to encourage undergraduate students to get involved in this industry?
